So it took me three days to realise that my stomach flu may actually be flu with food-poisoning. I blame the alfalfa sprouts. Of which I had some less than two hours ago. No more, I’m telling you, no more, because this is now my third day of working with the added pleasure of constant nausea.
I may be wrong and I’ll probably never know, but for now it’s no more alfalfa for me and a bloody long wait until this current wave of nausea passes. Incredibly uncomfortable. I’m kicking myself for not realising sooner that, actually, it might be a good idea to avoid common causes of food poisoning if you’re already feeling sick. Stupid. Stupid stupid stupid. But paying the price and maybe learning a valuable lesson.
