Winter at last

It was white and falling and a few specks stayed on the ground. Calling it ‘snow’ feels like an exaggeration. But the coldness feels good – refreshing. I declare winter.

It’ll be Christmas soon, and although a holiday sounds lovely I’m not actually ready for it. I was, but now I’ve changed my mind. What I want is a pre-Christmas holiday to get into the right mood, then maybe a week of light working and then Christmas. What I get is more and more work from now until Christmas. Ah well.

I know, I know, it’s only November, what is all this talk of Christmas already, but hey, it’ll be here before you know it. And to remind you of what the coming holiday is all really about I bring you the
